She believes that there is growing talent, imagination and creativity amongst young people right in the city of London. This provides a great opportunity for young fashion designers who want to progress their future careers in the fashion industry. The British Fashion Council will raise funds for the British Council’s Education Foundation Charity to offer educational scholarships to young enthusiasts. Over a period of 10 years, the British Fashion Council plans to raise and use £10 million to encourage and inspire young fashion enthusiasts.
With the growth of ecommerce and social media platforms in the digital world, it has become easier to get in touch with international designers. It will be a great opportunity for international designers to take part in ‘International Designer’ and ‘Outstanding Achievement’ awards, and will build a wonderful global fashion community.
